You should be able to get a decent racket for 40 bucks. I would also recommend purchasing grip for your racket. They tend to come in packs of three (~$5) so find some friends to split it with. : )

If you are an advanced player looking for higher quality rackets, try the NYC Badminton Club, Just stop by during their club hours or e-mail Veronica Wu at info@nycbadminton.com. They also sell shoes and restring rackets. If you tell them you are from NYU badminton, the price should be $20 for YonexBG65 strings or $15 if you have your own strings.

NYU Badminton T-shirt

We are aiming at making one T-shirt, 1 design in every academic year. Last year, we made a black T-shirt with white words saying NYU Badminton Club at the front and with NYU Badminton logo on the back. The price of a T-shirt depends on the number of orders by members, the more we order, the better deal we can get from the T company.
