2007-2008 MVP: Kun-ta Wu
Kun-ta joined the NYU Badminton Club in Fall 2007 and was immediately a team favorite. On his second day of practice he was already helping the women's team work on basic footwork. Throughout the semester one could find Kun-ta teaching others on the court and giving coaching advice to general club members when he wasn't training himself. It was clear that Kun-ta is not only an athlete but also a true team player. Throughout the season Kun-ta has approached badminton with enthusiasm and dedication. He holds one of the best attendance records to both games and practice and is always ready and eager to play even after a tough game, when most would need a breather or two. A versatile player, Kun-ta joined the team starting out as a singles and mixed player but soon added doubles to his repertoire when needed, marking many crucial wins that led to the success of this year's nascent team. Kun-ta is a first year graduate student studying Physics.
